About the Journal
CUADERNOS FILOSÓFICOS / Segunda Época [CF2] is a digital academic journal edited by the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of the National University of Rosario.
CF2 accepts research works on any philosophical current, reviews of philosophy works and translations of articles published in languages other than Spanish. Submitted proposals undergo a double-blind external evaluation so as to ensure they meet the quality criteria. The Editorial Board is in charge of accepting or rejecting authors’ proposals, on the basis of the reports made by the Reviewers.
Articles submitted for review must be original and unpublished works not being considered for publication elsewhere while the evaluation process by CF2 is taking place.
The journal accepts academic works by students of the BA in Philosophy at the National University of Rosario [UNR]. These works must be endorsed by their professors and shall be evaluated by two members of the Editorial Board.
CF2 only publishes articles in Spanish.
Policy on Open Access
CF2 does not pursue profit for its editorial activity. It provides open and free access to its contents, and it does not charge any fee for submission or publication. The contents of the journal and their internal regulations are available for users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, look for or link. Full texts of every published work are available for the purposes thereof.
Policy on Ethical Conduct and Plagiarism
Works submitted to CF2 undergo a plagiarism verification process before the double-blind evaluation process. In case plagiarism is confirmed, the work would be automatically rejected.
CF2 editorial activity complies with the ethical principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and follows the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for journal editors:

Policy on Digital Preservation
Since 2020, CF2 has adhered to the LOCKSS Digital Preservation System (http://www.lockss.org/) of Stanford University. Thanks to the system, journal contents are preserved in digital open access format and are made permanently available for access. Additionally, it allows associated libraries to share digital contents safely among them.
Policy on Privacy
The names and email addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the purposes stated by this journal and will not be available for any other purpose or person.
Policy on the Rights of the Author
CF2 publishes works under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-ND 4.0). This allows commercial or non-commercial distribution, as long as the work is made available in full and without any modifications, and the original author and first publication in the journal are acknowledged.

By simply submitting a piece of work for evaluation and publication, authors transfer the journal the right for first publication under the aforementioned licence. Authors can independently and additionally celebrate other contractual arrangements for non-exclusive distribution of the version published in this journal, (e.g. to include their work in an institutional repository or to publish it in a book) provided that they clearly state their work was first published by CF2.
