On the Logical Syntax of the Metaphysical and Transcendental Expositions in the ‘Transcendental Aesthetic’ of the Critique of Pure Reason and Kant's Solution to the Issues in Newtonian and Leibnizian Spatial Conceptions

The general theme of the article is the connection between Kant, Newton, and Leibniz regarding the notion of space. The paper analyses the argumentative structure of the metaphysical and transcendental expositiones of space in the ‘Transcendental Aesthetic’ of the Critique of Pure Reason, and then examines how the logical syntax of the expositiones responds to the need to resolve two problems in the Newtonian and Leibnizian conceptions of space.
